At Gerant Facility Managers Ltd, your privacy is our priority. This policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use our property management platform.
We collect personal information such as name, email address, property details, payment information, and maintenance history. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard TLS and AES-256 protocols.
Your data is used to facilitate maintenance tickets, enable communication between tenants and landlords, process financial transactions, and continuously improve our AI routing models. We never sell your data to third parties.
We share data only with vetted service providers necessary to operate the platform (e.g. payment processors, cloud infrastructure). Any third-party partner is contractually bound to data protection obligations.
We retain your data for as long as your account remains active, plus a 90-day grace period after deletion. Financial records may be retained longer where required by Nigerian law.
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR 2019), you have the right to access, rectify, or request deletion of your personal data. Submit requests to our DPO at info@gerantfm.com. We respond within 30 days.
We employ role-based access controls, regular security audits, and penetration testing. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you within 72 hours in line with NDPR requirements.

Landlords, tenants, and facility managers each have distinct permissions and responsibilities on the platform. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree not to misuse the platform for fraudulent activities, harassment, or any purpose that violates Nigerian law. Gerant reserves the right to investigate and terminate accounts engaged in prohibited conduct.
Service fees for maintenance coordination and subscription plans are displayed transparently on your dashboard. All payments are processed via secure licensed partners. Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy available on request.
Gerant acts as a coordination and technology platform. We do not directly perform physical maintenance or repairs unless specifically arranged via our vetted partners. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by third-party vendors, acts of God, or circumstances beyond our control.
All platform content, branding, and technology are the exclusive property of Gerant Facility Managers Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or cause harm to other users or the platform. You may close your account at any time via account settings.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved through the Lagos State courts or alternative dispute resolution mechanisms agreed upon by both parties.
